EWP Boomlift Training & Assessment Above 11m

The Licence to Perform High Risk Work (WP) for Boomlift over 11 meters platform height is a Nationally Recognised Qualification that includes comprehensive Training and Assessment.

All competent participants will be eligible to apply for a High Risk Work Licence issued by Worksafe Victoria.

EWP (BOOMLIFT LICENCE) COURSE STRUCTURE

Tailored to your experience, the Boomlift Training will be conducted over 2 days including both practical and theory training. The small class sizes of our boomlift licence course ensures that students receive maximum time driving the boomlift in preparation for the Boomlift Assessment.

EWP (BOOMLIFT LICENCE) MELBOURNE COURSE OUTCOMES

On successful completion of the Boomlift Licence Melbourne course, you will receive a Notice of Assessment; TLILIC2005 Licence to operate a Boom Type Elevating Work Platform issued by Ace Workplace Training, and a temporary WorkSafe Boomlift Licence; Licence to Perform High Risk Work – WP.  This temporary licence needs to be submitted to Australia Post within 60 days of completion of course, along with a fee of $65.00 to WorkSafe Victoria. You will then receive your licence in the mail, which is valid for a period of 5 years. 

Boomlift PRE-Assessment:

A pre-assessment workbook is to be completed at home prior to attending the boomlift licence course. Further theory is conducted in the class.  

EWP (BOOMLIFT LICENCE) COURSE REQUIREMENTS

• Have valid photo identification
• Be a resident of Victoria (or have a valid reason for completing your course in Victoria)
• Have basic English language, literacy and numeracy skills. Please let us know if you need assistance with reading or writing
• Complete a workbook prior to your boomlift licence course
